3 Series E36 320i (M52) CONVER
Adapt new part for side panel.
Mark out holes for plug-welding connection on side member
cover.
Caution!
Side panel is located on raised faces of side member covers.
The welding spots are also located on the support faces.
Remove side panel and drill out holes for plug-welding.
Clean connection points and coat with zinc dust paint.
Adjust side panel and secure.
Weld together door entrance connection.
Weld connection points for tail panel, light bracket and water
drain.
RA Replacing complete left rear side panel (convertible)
