Removing and installing complete left or right
electrical window regulators (convertible)

Removing side trim panel,

refer to 51 43 000

Removing automatic seat belt tensioner,

refer to 72 11 030

Lower side windows and opening convertible soft top.

Remove cavity trim (rubber) by pulling upwards and leave
attached (hanging loose).

Loosen screws and remove window cavity trim.

Note:

Front sheet nut tends to drop off easily.

Close side window.

Remove plug from window regulator motor.

Loosen lower screws and upper nuts.
