Replacing left or right outside mirror housing
Remove mirror glass,
refer to 51 16 026
Tilt mirror forward.
Squeeze retainers together using pointed pliers and remove
cover.
Note:
If the mirror housing does not have visible retainers, break out
the marked openings at corresponding positions in the
"housing frame" (1).
Installation:
Seal mirror housing to mirror base joint in area (A) with
Sikaflex 221.
Fold mirror back.
Remove screws (1) and "small cap".
