Replacing alternator drive belt (M50)
Unclip cover.
Turn tensioner with a hexagon key.
Take off ribbed drive belt.
Installation:
Note belt arrangement.
Note:
The hydraulic belt tensioner is filled with oil, so that a removed
element must always be stored standing upright.
Incorrrectly stored elements can normally be bled by compressing
several times.
