3 Series E36 325i (M50) CONVER
Adjusting gap dimensions and position of trunk lid relative to other
fittings on the body,
refer to 41 00 ...
Tighten left and right screws (1 and 2).
Adjust lower section of trunk lid lock
(screws in lower section of trunk lid lock loosened to point where
they can be displaced):
Caution!
When gas pressure props are removed, unsecured trunk lid
drops without damping!
Close trunk lid, holding down lock button to prevent trunk lid lock
from engaging.
This enables lower section of trunk lid lock to adjust itself correctly.
Open trunk lid and secure to prevent it from dropping.
Caution!
When gas pressure props are removed, unsecured trunk lid
drops without damping!
Tighten screws on lower section of trunk lid lock.
