3 Series E36 325i (M50) CONVER
Cut off and remove the residual foam (1) in the area of the trim
strip at the inner radius with a scalpel. Completely remove any
adhesive residues, while allowing the solvent to work briefly.
Use a scraper (special tool 00 9 322) to aid the removal.

Any damage to the paintwork does not need to be repaired or
repainted.
Caution!
Do not block the vent holes (1) with adhesive or other
material.
Position new convertible top lid cover and align.
Apply adhesive (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service) in trim
strip channel (1) and on cover. Do not apply adhesive in the area
of the grommets (2).
