3 Series E36 325i (M50) CONVER
Installation:
Stick together cementing faces (2) with cyanate acrylic
cement (Loctite 380, refer to BMW Parts Service).
Observe notes for adhesive gaskets,
refer to 54 0 ...

Convertible top compartment cover
Unfasten screw (1) from tensioning tape (2) with special tool
54 3 160.
Installation:
Fit washer (3).
Unscrew bolts (1).
Remove left/right retaining brackets (2) and strip with gasket (3).
Unfasten rivet connection (1) from tensioning tape (2) "center".
Installation:
Rivet down tensioning tape (2), cut off flush with convertible
top frame, then seal with soldering iron to prevent it from
fraying (3).
