Adjusting electric drive for convertible top lid.

Note:

Remove left luggage compartment trim,

refer to 51 47 151

Requirements:

Soft top lid correctly installed and adjusted, drive units not
disconnected.

Bowden cables adjusted,

refer to 54 25 008

Adjust convertible top lid drive unit:

Unscrew the strikers (1) fully only after straightening work.

Remove tab washer (1) and disconnect convertible top lid drive
rod (2) from engine.

Close luggage compartment lid.

Press convertible top actuating switch in "Close" direction until the
clamping bracket is upright, continue to press for a further
3 seconds, then open convertible top lid by hand. Continue to
press switch, the convertible top flap motor continues running.
Keep convertible top actuating switch depressed until the
clamping bracket starts to move again.
