3 Series E36 325i (M50) CONVER
When the two rollover protection bars are extended, all vehicle occupants - especially rear seat passengers - obtain
additional protection to their safety belts if a vehicle rolls.
Locking the rollover bar in place:
To support impact forces, the rollover bars (2) mate with the pawl detents (15) ("saw-tooth profile").
