3 Series E36 325is (M50) COUPE
Caution!
To prevent the valves from being damaged during installation
of the camshaft, the pistons may not be in the TDC position.
Rotate engine counter-enginewise approx. 30
°
using the
central screw.
Unscrew studs.
Screw special tool 11 3 260 and special tool 11 3 270
together.
Remove spark plugs.
Position special tool 11 3 260 and screw into spark plug
threads.
Tightening Torque 23 Nm
RA Replacing camshaft (M50) (intake or exhaust side as applicable)
