Replacing fuel pressure regulator
(M50,S50US)
After function check of Digital Motor Electronics (DME),
refer to 13 00 002
or after checking delivery pressure of fuel pump,
refer to 13 31 029
Unscrew cover on firewall.
Switch off ignition.
Take off cover.
Take off fresh-air housing.
Removing injection pipe with fuel injectors,
refer to 13 64 150
Unscrew bolt (1).
Press off fuel-pressure regulator (will be difficult due to sucking
effect of sealing rings).
Caution!
Thrust washer falls out.
