3 Series E36 325tds (M51) TOUR
Unscrew nut (1) and turn lockpin (2) to adjust height of the hood
lid.
Adjust hood lid to same height as side panels (1).
Check for uniform gap on front panel (2).
Tighten nut.
Check for correct locking of locks and retaining hook, adjusting if
necessary.
Measure and, if necessary, correct the distance (A). This indicates
the amount by which the hood lid protrudes beyond the headlight
lens.
Distance (A): approx. 1.5 mm
Loosen mounting screws (1) sufficiently for expansion nuts (2) to
be turned.
Adjust distance (A) by turning expansion nuts (2) uniformly.
Caution!
Hold expansion nuts tight while tightening mounting screws
(1).
