Carefully remove tank sensor, pressing height button slightly
towards housing.

Spark-ignition engines from 1/95

Fuel tank expansion line is fitted in fuel tank.

Depress detent (1) and remove tank expansion line.

Spark-ignition engine from 1/95

Installation:

Ensure that non-return valve (1) is fitted in tank expansion
line.

Spark-ignition engines from 1/95

Note:

If the air valve does not function, the fuel delivery unit (right)
must be removed,

refer to 16 12 000

After removal of fuel level sensor (left), check whether tank
expansion lead (1) has engaged in surge tank (2).
