3 Series E36 328i (M52) TOUR
Disconnect cable at holder (1).
Metal Plug Version (2):
Turn bayonet lock (1) counterclockwise.
Pull off plug (2).
Installation:
Connect plug (2) so that marks (3) are aligned.
Disconnect plug connection (4).
Plastic Plug Version (2):
Turn lock (1) counterclockwise.
Pull off plug (2).
Installation:
Plug has a lock and can only be connected in one position.
Disconnect plug connection (3).
Unscrew oil cooler feed pipe (1).
Loosen coupling bolt (2) and swing connector down.
Pull oil cooler pipe out in this position.
Installation:
Check O-ring (3) and replace if necessary.
Tightening torque of banjo bolt,
refer to Technical Data 24 31 4AZ.
Tightening torque of oil line,
refer to Technical Data 17 22 6AZ.
