Replacing radial seal for output flange (A5S
300J)

Note:

After completion of work, check transmission oil level,

refer to 00 11 500.

Disconnect propeller shaft from transmission flange and tie
up to one side,

refer to 26 11 000.

Brace output flange with special tool 23 0 020 and unfasten nut
(1).

Installation:

Use new nut.

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 24 21 1AZ.

Installation:

Coat new O-ring (1) with automatic transmission fluid and
press into groove (2).

Secure special tool 33 1 150 with 4 screws (M10x35) to output
flange.

Pull off output flange.

Remove special tool 33 1 150 from output flange and take old
O-ring out of output flange.
