Replacing all brake pipes

Note:

Brake pipes are only supplied straight, in correct length and
fitted with connecting nipples.

New brake pipes must be bent as required using special tool
34 5 100.

Removed brake pipes can be used as templates for bending.

Caution!

- 

Protective coat on brake pipes must 

not be damaged while bending.

- 

Brake pipes must not be bent back and 

forth.

- 

Tighten brake-pipe couplings 

with torque wrench.

Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data

Caution!

After completion of work, bleed brake system.

Vehicle without ABS, refer to 34 00 046

Vehicle with ABS, refer to 34 00 047

Vehicle with ABS/ASC+T, refer to 34 00 048
