3 Series E36 328i (M52) TOUR
Note tightening torque,
refer to 34 32 1AZ
Disconnect brake lines (FL, FR, RA) on hydraulic control unit.
To unfasten the 12 mm dia. connections on the hydraulic control
unit, use special tool 34 3 172. Seal connections immediately.
Caution!
Do not interchange brake lines; mark before removal if
necessary.
FR) from hydraulic control unit FR to front right wheel brake
FL) from hydraulic control unit FL to front left wheel brake
RA) from hydraulic control unit RA to rear-axle wheel brake
Installation:
Note tightening torque,
refer to 34 32 1AZ
Unlock connector (1) and remove from control unit.
Installation:
Ensure that connector is located perfectly then slide locking
unit completely downwards.
Unfasten bolt (1) and thread out hydraulic control unit upward.
When doing so simply lay brake lines aside, but never bend them.
