Unlock and pull off central connector.

Note:

Keep brake fluid out of cable connector.

Important!

Do not interchange (confuse) brake leads and mark where
appropriate.

Unfasten brake leads (1 ... 5) from hydraulic unit.

Installation:

Pipe connections

1. 

front right

2. 

front left

3. 

Rear axle

4. 

master brake cylinder V (front axle)

5. 

master brake cylinder H (rear axle)

Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 34 32 1AZ

Pull suction hoses off elbow on pump body and catch escaping
brake fluid.

Note:

Suction hoses were only fitted until 09/94.

Loosen retaining nut and lift hydraulic unit out of bracket.
