3 Series E36 328i (M52) TOUR
On spare outer D-pillar (with sub-frame), define, mark out and cut
through connection point between outer D-pillar / gutter.
Dimension (A) = 15 mm from edge of aperture for cable guide to
trunk lid.
Spare outer D-pillar cut from sub-frame.
Manufacture and fit reinforcement plate for connection point
between outer D-pillar / gutter.
Width = approx. 40 mm
Note:
View of reinforcement plate for connection point between outer D-
pillar / gutter illustrated in two sectional views.
Coat reinforcement plate with zinc dust paint.
Drill out holes for plug welding connection point between outer D-
pillar / gutter on vehicle.
Coat connection point on vehicle with zinc dust paint.
