Fit special tool 51 3 010 to tool trolley and secure side window.

Note:

Dampen down suction faces.

Clean the front sealing lip with alcohol and attach double-
sided adhesive tape.

Caution!

The basic filler must have hardened!

Treat side window and body beside glued area with BMW-
approved materials (repair kit, Sourcing Reference: BMW Parts
Service),

refer to 51 31 ...

Note:

Note ventilation time!

Attach burr fastener to body aperture.

Cut nozzle to size.

(A) = 7 mm

(B) = 15 

±

 1 mm

(C) = 3 mm

(D) = 2 mm

(D) = 2 mm

Note:

To apply uniform glue bead, use cartridge pistol (operated by
compressed air or electric power, Sourcing Reference: BMW
Parts Service).

Check expiry date of glue!
