Pry out lower trim panel.

On US vehicles:

Release screws and remove knee protection.

Remove holder for strip connector from steering column.

Remove screw and take off double-pipe.

Installation:

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 64 21 1AZ.

Replace O-rings.

Note:

Shown on removed heater for better demonstration.

Sedan, coupé, convertible

Remove screw and pull out heater core.

Note:

Shown on removed heater for better demonstration.

Installation:

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 64 21 5AZ.

Compact

Remove screw and pull out heater core.

Note:

Shown on removed heater for better demonstration.

Installation:

Tightening torque,

refer to Technical Data 64 215AZ.
