Replacing magnetic coupling for compressor
(with Seiki compressor)
Note:
Removing compressor,
refer to 64 52 520
Grip drive plate with special tool 64 5 020, unfasten screw (1)
and remove drive plate.
Installation:
Ensure correct clearance A (0.5 ... 0.8 mm) between drive
plate and pulley. If necessary, adjust by installing shims.
Only M43:
Installation:
Secure magnetic measuring block and dial gauge to vice.
Connect adapter cable 61 2 070 to a battery. Connect adapter
cable 61 1 467 to the magnetic coupling. Supply magnetic
coupling with power via safety cable 61 1 476 and read off
pointer reading on dial gauge when doing so. If necessary, adjust
clearance (0.5 ... 0.8 mm) between drive plate and pulley using
shims.
