Removing and installing or replacing
alternator (S50)
General Data, refer to Page 12 00 ...
Read fault memory.
Disconnect battery earth lead.
Remove alternator drive belt, refer to 11 28 010
Remove suction-filter housing, refer to 13 71 000
Unscrew bolts (1).
Unscrew nuts (2).
Remove heat-protection plate.
Unscrew screw on holder for oil cooler pipes. Remove holder and
spacer.
