3 Series E36 M3 (S50) CONVER
Remove cover on wire connections.
Unscrew nuts.
Remove leads and cover cap.
Unscrew bolt (1).
Lift off protective cap from screw (2) on tensioning roller.
Unfasten screw (2) and lift out together with tension roller.
Remove alternator.
Installation:
Fit cooling air hose to cooling air suction spigot.
Installation:
Locking device on tensioning roller must engage in groove.
Note:
Dismantle alternator, refer to 12 31 513
