3 Series E36 M3 (S50) CONVER
Set full throttle detent:
Move cable lever (1) to full-throttle position.
Insert a caliper gauge between throttle and center of intake funnel
and measure gaps (A) and (B). Note down measured values.
Dimension A = 24.4 mm (design dimension)
Dimension B = 25.4 (design dimension)
Calculate mean value of measured values from 6 throttle
assemblies. Determine difference from design dimension.
Use screw (2) to adjust all 6 throttles simultaneously in the
direction of the design dimension.
If a throttle assembly demonstrates large dimensional differences
from the design dimension, it must be replaced completely.
