Replacing pressure accumulator (SMG) for
hydraulic unit
Note:
After finishing work:
Bleed clutch hydraulic system,
refer to DIS Service Function "Bleeding".
Caution!
Depressurize hydraulic unit; to do so:
Open cover on E-box on right spring strut shock absorber and pull
off relay (1).
Switch on ignition.
Actuate brake.
Shift selector lever from position "0" to"R" and/or "0" to "E" until
the transmission stops performing gear changes.
Note:
The gear indicator in the instrument cluster begins to flash.
The selected gear is no longer displayed. No further gearshift
noises can be heard from the transmission.
Check accumulator prepressurizing pressure via DIS.
Release pressure accumulator (1) at hexagon head and remove.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 21 52 6AZ.
Note:
Note position of O-ring.
Caution!
When screwing in: pay attention to slant of installation position
of pressure accumulator.
