3 Series E36 M3 (S50) CONVER
Arrester balls are replaced by locking sleeves.
Replace old springs with new springs.
New springs are contained in repair kit.
Coat locking sleeves (1) with gear oil.
Insert locking sleeves (1) with springs (2) into bores.
Hemispheres of locking sleeves (1) point downwards.
Insert sealing cap (3) with sealing lip pointing to transmission.
Caution!
In the event of incorrect repair work, the sealing cap will not
be able to be fitted properly.
The transmission will no longer be able to perform shifting.
