3 Series E36 M3 (S50) CONVER
Position of upper window guide.
Distance (A) = 35 mm
Distance between edge of upper window guide and soft top box
approx. 2 mm.
Caution!
The window guide must not abut against the soft top box!
Weld lower edge of window guide on outer wheel housing.
Distance (A) = 57 mm
When using the removed wheel housing extension:
Clean connection points on wheel housing extension.
Adjust wheel housing extension and weld.
When using a new part:
Adjust wheel housing extension.
Mark out holes for plug-welding between wheel housing extension
and internal wheel housing.
Remove wheel housing extension.
Drill holes for plug welding.
Clean connection points and coat with zinc dust paint.
RA Replacing rear left outer section of wheel housing (side panel removed)
