3 Series E36 M3 (S50) CONVER
Remove door pillar and weld square-section reinforcement pipe
firmly to support carrier.
Weld square-section reinforcement pipe to reinforcement point on
car jacking point: weld along front edge of pipe.
Note:
Due to difficulty of access, the square-section reinforcement
pipe on the car jacking point can no longer be welded at the
standard point.
If welded correctly, there are no disadvantages over standard
welding operation.
RA Replacing front left or right door pillar (cover for side member removed)
