Installation:
Stick together cementing faces (2) with cyanate acrylic
cement (Loctite 380, refer to BMW Parts Service).
Observe notes for adhesive gaskets,
refer to 54 0 ...

Convertible top compartment cover
Unfasten screws and remove strip together with gasket.
Unfasten screw from tension belt "center".
Installation:
Tighten down tension belt, cut off flush with convertible top
frame and seal edges with soldering iron to prevent fraying
(1).
Unfasten screw from tension belt "bottom".
Installation:
Insert tension belt behind microswitch cable (2).
Tighten down tension belt, cut off flush with convertible top frame
and seal edges with soldering iron to prevent fraying (1).
