3 Series E36 M3 (S50) CONVER
Unfasten guide (1), remove completely and wipe away screw
securing adhesive (Loctite) with a cleaning cloth.
Adjust input shaft (2) by hand until screw (3) is accessible for tool.
Installation:
Insert guide (1) with Loctite 243 (sourcing reference: BMW
Parts Service).
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 54 34 9AZ
Loosen screws (1) and nuts (2).
Adjust height using adjusting screw (3).
Tighten down screws (1) and nuts (2).
If applicable, adjust base plates,
refer to 54 31 070
RA Adjusting left or right convertible top lock (fully automatic)
