Checking/topping up oil level in hydraulic
system (SMG)
Switch on ignition.
Actuate brake.
Shift selector lever from position "0" to "R" and/or "0" to "E" until
the charge pump on the hydraulic unit (1) cuts in.
Wait until charge pump switches off.
Open up expansion tank (1).
Open bleed screw (3) on reservoir until hydraulic fluid emerges.
Close bleed screw (3).
Fill expansion tank (1) up to MAX mark (dipstick (4) on cover) with
hydraulic fluid (Pentosin CHF 11S).
