Release accelerator pedal so as to achieve idle speed. Then shift to 0 position (neutral), the clutch
separates.

The clutch is O.K. if the transmission input speed drops to 0 rpm within a period of max. 10 s.

If there is still a residual transmission input speed, the clutch will not separate fully. Replace clutch. Clean
taper splines of transmission input shaft and grease as instructed; for procedure, refer to repair
instructions.

Control unit flashable from production date 06/97.
