3 Series E36 M3 (S50) SAL
Release cable retainer (1) and pull off.
Pull off retaining plate (2) and remove cable (3) from actuating
unit.
Release screws
Installation:
Clean bolt thread and threaded hole.
Install screws with Loctite 243 screw locking varnish.
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 23 41 1AZ.
Lift retaining clip (1) out of detent and swing upward.
Pull off pin (2) and remove actuating unit (3) from transmission.
Installation:
Watch dowel sleeves (1) in actuating unit (2).
