Adjusting Left or Right Front Door Window (Coupé and Convertible)
Initial retraction depth (C) adjustment:
Version with "two" adjusting holes behind rubbing strip:
Tightening central screws.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 51 32 2AZ
Raise the door window.
Loosen screw, press soft detent forwards and tighten screw.
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 51 32 3AZ
Preload (D):
Caution!
Excessive preload could cause the door window glass to
break.
Note:
The door window glass must be firmly closed.
Adjust dimensions (E) and (F) on roller guide (1) for door window
glass (2).
Dimension (E) = 30 mm
Dimension (F) = 34 mm
Tightening torque, refer to Technical Data 51 32 1AZ
Loosen the lower screws.
Align the door window.
Pull down centre of window guide rail.
Hand-tighten one screw under window guide rail but do not tighten
down (risk of distorting the window guide rail).
Tighten the second screw and afterwards tighten the first screw.
