Clutch hydraulics bleeder bottle
Sequential M transmission (SMG)
Situation:
In contrast to all other models, the clutch hydraulics of the M3 with SMG transmission is not
filled with brake fluid, but rather with hydraulic oil (Pentosin CHF 11S).
Important:
On no account should the brake system bleeder tool (bleed hose with collector) be
used to bleed the clutch hydraulics.
Even the slightest amount of hydraulic oil in the brake system can cause
brake failure.
For this reason, an appropriately marked bleeder bottle 21 5 020 with bleed hose has
been introduced.

The bleeder tools for the brake system and for the clutch hydraulics should be stored
separately to prevent incorrect use.
Procedure:
Bleeder bottle 21 5 020 is only delivered to order as a store tool.
