Replacing temperature sensor for intake air
(M52,S52)
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Switch off ignition.
Removing throttle valve neck,
refer to 13 54 030
Note:
Cables and throttle valve preheating unit remain connected.
Disconnect plug connection for temperature sensor.
Depress interlock detent, unclip temperature sensor for intake air
manifold.
Installation:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit, check faults in
memory, rectify faults and clear fault memory.
