Removing and installing/replacing motor and
gear for glass tilt roof actuation (Z3 Coupé,
M Coupé)

Lower roof liner (do not remove),

refer to 51 44 007.

Exposing cable:

The cable (1) is secured in the corners with fabric adhesive
tape (2) and on the stud bolts with cable ties (3).

The cable (1) is secured with fabric adhesive tape (2) and on the
stud bolts with cable ties (3).

Unpinning plug:

Note down colors and contact numbers.

Special tool 61 1 132 is required for unpinning.
