Removing and installing or replacing water
pump (S50)
Draining off coolant,
refer to 17 00 005
Removing vibration damper,
refer to 11 23 010
Grip belt pulley on water pump against ribbed drive belt and
unfasten screws.
Loosen hose clamp.
Unscrew bolts.
Disconnect water pump from coolant hose and remove.
Installation note:
Keep sealing faces clean and free of oil.
Replace seal.
