3 Series E36 M roadst (S52) ROADST
Unscrew suspension eye.
Remove cable channel.
Detach cover for inlet camshaft.
Crank engine in direction of rotation until cam tips of inlet and
exhaust camshafts at 1st cylinder point to each other.
RA Removing and installing or replacing VANOS adjustment unit (M52/S52)
