Before installing glass roof frame:

Install trim strip on roof frame, left and right,

refer to 51 13 280.

Install glass roof cover and close fully with motor/gear (zero
position),

refer to 54 10 100.

Disassemble motor/gear again.

Insert locating clip (1) in mount for cover kinematics (2).

Installation:

Open a side window to prevent a pressure buildup in the car
interior when the door is closed.

Mount glass roof frame (1) with special tool 51 3 010 on tool
trolley.

Cut nozzle to size.

Dimensions:

(A) 7.5

(B) 8

  mm

Check expiry date of glue!

Note:

For an even application of adhesive bead:

Use a cartridge gun (operated pneumatically or electrically,
sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
