Removing and installing or replacing airbag
unit (inserted airbag unit)
Warning!
Conform with safety precautions!
Incorrect handling can activate airbag and cause injury.
Disconnect battery negative pole and cover negative pole and
terminal.
Important!
Steering wheel must be replaced if airbag unit has been
triggered!
Follow procedure after airbag triggering.
Release screw.
Pull lower section of steering-column casing off upper section.
Installation:
Check for correct position of lock.
Pull plug connection (yellow) out of mount on steering column and
disconnect.
