Removing and installing entire instrument
carrier (Z3 roadster, Z3 coupé)
Remove steering wheel,
refer to 32 33 000
Remove panelling for instrument panel at bottom,
refer to 51 45 180
Unfasten screws, then slide instrument cluster straight out of trim
and fold over.
Caution!
Place cleaning rags on steering column to avoid scratches in
glass of instrument carrier.
Push levers on connectors forward and take out connectors.
Installation:
When inserting a connector, lever must be in forward position.
Recode instrument carrier after replacing. Refer to IDC
003/92-14
Installation:
Convert and reset encoding connector when replacing
instrument carrier,
refer to 62 10 000
