Replacing actuator drive of fresh air flaps (Z3
roadster, Z3 coupé)
Remove lower left trim for instrument panel,
refer to 51 45 180
Remove regulator for evaporator,
refer to 64 11 901
Unfasten screw and unclip left footwell air outlet.
Note:
Operation illustrated after removal.
Unfasten screws and remove connector.
Note:
Operation illustrated after removal.
Press actuator drive slightly downwards and unclip actuating lever.
Installation:
First press actuating lever onto the shaft until it is heard to
engage, then tighten down the actuator drive.
