3 Series E36 Z3 (M52TU) ROADST
Tilt handle and withdraw oil dipstick.
Installation:
When fluid has drained out completely:
-
Replace sealing ring
-
Screw in drain plug
Tightening torque: 24 11 6AZ.
Adding transmission fluid:
Insert special tool 24 0 080 in oil dipstick guide tube.
Add automatic transmission fluid.
Interrogate transmission fluid temperature with MoDiC or BMW
Service Tester (refer to test instructions).
Note:
Clean measuring area of dipstick with a fiber-free cloth and
reinsert.
Start engine.
Apply brake and run through all driving stages several times in
neutral.
Move selector lever into position "P".
Determine fluid level (H) by measuring at dipstick and in
accordance with following table.
Correct fluid level by draining or topping up:
