3 Series E36 Z3 (M52TU) ROADST
Version with over-center helper spring for clutch pedal:
Hold clutch pedal tightly.
Push out shaft pin.
Pull up clutch pedal slowly.
Take off over-center helper spring.
Installation:
Grease sliding surfaces,
refer to Technical Data.
Make sure spring holder is seated correctly in mounting block.

Over-center helper spring
3.
Guide pin
4.
Bearing shaft
5.
Locking clip
Over-center helper spring from model 3/97:
1.
Spring retainer, black
2.
Over-center helper spring
3.
Spring retainer, gray
Disconnect return spring for brake pedal.
Take off locking clip for shaft pin of brake pedal.
Push out shaft pin.
Installation:
Grease sliding surfaces,
refer to Technical Data.
