Replacing luggage compartment floor
support member
Read contents of Body, General.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove final muffler.
•
Remove complete rear axle carrier.
•
Remove fuel tank.
•
Remove luggage compartment floor panels.
Place vehicle on straightening bench.
Following new body parts are required (refer to EPC):
-
(1) Luggage compartment floor
Note:
Drill out holder for left final muffler (2). (M Roadster only)
Drill out support member of luggage compartment floor (3).
Note:
New luggage compartment floor component viewed from
underbody area.
Luggage compartment floor support member drilled out.
(1) = direction of travel
