Roughly cut away cover for A-pillar around the door hinge.

Remove A-pillar cover.

Remove scrap metal. Straighten and grind joint surfaces.

Drill holes for plug welding of spare A-pillar cover in the region of:

- 

connection cover for side member

- 

windshield connection

- 

inner A-pillar connection

Clean and coat joint surfaces with zinc dust paint.
