Replacing heater core (air-conditioning unit)
(Z3 roadster, Z3 coupé)
Unfasten clips and remove hoses.
Carefully blow air into the intake line to remove remaining coolant
from the heater core.
Remove trim for lower left instrument panel,
refer to 51 45 180
If necessary on US vehicle, remove knee protectors.
Removing shelf,
refer to 51 16 200
Press clip together and pull lines apart.
Unfasten screw and unclip footwell air outlet from side.
