Removing and installing/replacing lock for
glovebox, right (Z3 Roadster, M Roadster,
Z3 Coupé, M Coupé)
Only US version:
Unfasten screws (1) and remove upper (2) and lower sections of
lock.
Only replacement (US version):
Insert vehicle key in lock cylinder (2).
Break open locks (1) if necessary and pull out lock cylinder (2)
with vehicle key.
Caution!
Do not pull on vehicle key.
Do not pull vehicle key out of removed lock cylinder (retainers
and springs would drop out of lock cylinder).
Installation:
Perform function check on removed lock.
